We have a pleasure to inform that on November 30, 2022, the Polish Spring Manufacturers Association was appointed a member of the Technical Committee (KT) 145 for Quality and Special Steels in the Polish Standarisation Committee (PKN). The Committee deals with standardization in the area of quality and special steels, including spring materials, as well as standardization of springs. The Association will be represented in PKN by Mr. Grzegorz Jasik and Mr. Oscar Sowa. One of the milestones of the association's activity is activity in the area of standardization, i.e. creating new standards and revision of existing standards. The involvement of spring producing companies that are members of the association in the normalization and standardization process is obligatory. Manufacturers have experience, technical facilities and the means necessary to carry out researches and analysis of technical issues, so that the standards support the developing technologies in the spring industry and ensure the greatest possible standardization of work.
On 7-9 October 2022 in Bory Tucholskie in the village of Charzykowy took place the
II Meeting of the Polish Spring Manufacturers Association.
This is the second annual meeting of our association, which is constantly and consistently growing, both in terms of the composition of the staff and new companies, as well as projects that we jointly implement as part of the statutory activities of the organization.
At the meeting, we had the pleasure to host Mr. Wolfgang Hermann from WH Industrie federn, who, as a spring expert, conducted a very interesting seminar entitled: "From iron ore to spring wire", which allowed us to organize and refresh knowledge about production spring wire and its various grades.
The second seminar "Possibilities and threats in property and third party liability insurance" was prepared by Alfa Brokers Sp. z o.o. dealing with the area of insurance. The content of the speech was focused on strategic insurance for companies that play a huge role in the industry today.
We would like to thank all members of the association who participate in the creation of the spring producer community for participating in the meeting, as well as the speakers for professional and substantive speeches.
On September 30 - October 1, 2022 in Milan, together with other representatives of the European Spring Federation, we celebrated the 50th anniversary of ANCCEM. ANCCEM (Associazione Mollifici Italiani) is an Italian association that has been active for 50 years. In response to the invitation of the president, Mr. Francesco Silvestri, we jointly celebrated this great and historic event, which is the 50th anniversary of their organization. During the meeting, a synthesis of all years of activity of the Italian association was presented and the enormity of work done for the benefit of not only the Italian spring industry, but the spring industry around the world. Congratulations on the achievements of the entire ANCCEM organization and encourage you to remain active in the industry.
