On November 21, 2023 in Paris was held a meeting of the CEN/TC 407 Spring Standardization Committee, which plans increased activity in the field of European standards for springs.

Representatives from 5 countries, including Poland, were present at the meeting. At the European level, we are officially represented by Mr. Grzegorz Jasik, who is also a member of the Polish Spring Manufacturers Association (SPPS) and a delegate of the Polish Standarisation Committe (PKN) to CEN/TC 407.

One of the primary goals of standardization is to promote quality and safety in products, in this case in springs, which very often play a responsible role in many mechanical systems.

As an association, we are proud that we can take an active part in revising or creating new standards by sharing our experience and knowledge.

On September 28-30, 2023, our Association participated in the 11th International Congress of Spring Industry in Barcelona. This year's cyclical event was organized by the Spanish association ASEMU Asociación Española Muelles y Flejes with the support of ESF - European Spring Federation. During the congress, many issues important for spring manufacturers were discussed, and representatives of individual countries gave a presentation on the economic situation in the industry in their country.
It was an excellent opportunity to meet friends from the industry and establish new relationships with colleagues from abroad, as well as prepare for the upcoming challenges for our industry.
We would like to thank the ASEMU Asociación Española Muelles y Flejes for the invitation to this wonderful event, and our Polish colleagues for their large participation.

On 22 November 2021, in Warsaw was held a meeting of the members of the Polish Spring Manufacturers Association (SPPS) with the General Secretary of the European Spring Federation (ESF), Mr. Wolfgang Hermann. During the meeting were presented purpose and scope of activities of the ESF. The federation includes the national associations of spring manufacturers, representing a given country on a European scale. Then were discussed the conditions for joining the the SPPS  to the ESF.

The goals of the European Spring Federation:

We predict that in 2022 the Association of Polish Spring Manufacturers will become one

from members of the European Spring Federation and will continue to develop dynamically.

We would like to thank all members of the association for their commitment to the work and development of the association.

Best regards,

Board of SPPS
